If you want to purchase a ready-made crank mechanism then it can replace another Shimano crank. If you have a different crank mechanism consult a good bicycle mechanic to check compatibility and possible replacement of the bottom bracket.
Also, keep in mind that mounting a meter on your bike is possible if:
- You have enough clearance between the crank and the frame (check here)
- Your rear brake (if it is a lower “aero” brake) does not interfere with the meter (check here)
- You have original Shimano sprockets
